Ag Night Out First Friday was kicked off on Friday, October 7th, by the Bulloch County Historical Society (BCHS) who dedicated their second community mural at the event.
BCHS commissioned Charleston, South Carolina, artists David Boatwright and Michael Kuffel to paint a set of five murals representing Native American History of the Archaic period from 2,000 to 4,000 years ago.

Joe McGlamery, BCHS President, gave welcome remarks from the Society. Virginia Anne Franklin Waters, BCHS Executive Director, read the text of the bronze marker at the mural. McGlamery closed the dedication by thanking the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority for allowing them to dedicate the mural during First Friday and thanked the community for their support of BCHS.
Junior Society members handed out red BCHS tote bags, chilled BCHS bottled water, and BCHS hand fans.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority to promote Agribusiness as a top industry in Bulloch County and the region during First Friday's event.

The family-oriented event did not disappoint. Thousands came out to get an up-close view of farm equipment used by local farmers.
The event featured a variety of locally grown foods, live entertainment including the Ripleys Band, educational farm exhibits, farm animals, and tractor displays. Other activities included over sixty five vendors, a Party Harbor bouncy, CORE Credit Union photo booth, and Vyve Broadband drawing for a TV.

The Chamber thanks Agri Supply of Statesboro — Ag Night Out Presenting Sponsor — and Tidewater Equipment and Tutt Land Company — Premier Sponsors of Ag Night Out. These sponsors have been generous in investing in agribusiness and to the Chamber.
