Digital Office Equipment is thrilled to announce the winner of our highly anticipated "Extreme Office Makeover" contest. After receiving entries from companies across our service area who were in desperate need for new office furniture and equipment, we are proud to reveal that McCorkle Sales in Claxton, GA has been selected as the lucky recipient of this incredible transformation.
The "Extreme Office Makeover" contest, which ran from June 28th to September 7th, aimed to recognize and reward one deserving business with an office makeover including a new customized desk of their choice, an ergonomic X-Chair with heat and massage, an all-in-one computer and a multi-function copier/printer/scanner valued at over $5,000.00. The contest received an incredible response, with participants sharing their stories and explaining why their office space was in dire need of a makeover.
Three finalists who stood out among all the entrants, showcasing compelling stories, photos, and videos, were invited to the Finalists Receptionist on Tuesday, September 12 at Gnat’s Landing. Combat Boots 2 the Boardroom, located in Richmond Hill, and ARK Plumbing in Statesboro were the other two finalists along with the winner, McCorkle Sales. Our 3 celebrity judges, Mandy Fortune, Dal Cannady, and Bubba Hunt were given ballots at the ceremony to place their votes after reviewing all the entries so the winner could be announced live at the event.
The excitement was felt as the votes were read one by one with a possible tie scenario, but the winner was chosen with 2 out of 3 votes.
With the help and creativity of his daughter and grandson, Terry McCorkle of McCorkle Sales submitted a video showcasing his office that was in need of an upgrade along with a clever poem written and read aloud describing the scene that helped seal their victory. Their entry also included the following heartfelt description of the local businessman:
“As a self-made businessman, Terry McCorkle has put others first for over 20 years. His Claxton office is not a reflection of someone lazy or disorganized (although it is messy) but rather the results of a man who will drop anything to help others.”
The makeover process will be an exciting journey for both McCorkle Sales and Digital Office Equipment. Our team of design experts are excited to create a vision that will breathe new life into their workspace.
