In nine games on the season, the South Georgia Tormenta FC has made 15 goals and allowed 13 goals, grabbing a 3-4-2 record so far.

The women's league is back in action at home next Tuesday, June 11, with a match against the South Carolina United Bantams.

The remainder of the game times will be announced at a later date, no later than 12 days prior to kickoff.

Courtney Ball and Janai Conklin earned honors for second straight year, while Faith Barth, Gracie Bellard, and Emma Davis earned honors for first time.

This is the second time both these teams have met on the pitch in 2024. Tormenta FC will take on Charlotte Independence on Saturday, June 1 at the American Legion Stadium in Charlotte.

All proceeds will go to the Carter Payne Fund, which assists families in the Tormenta FC Academy with expenses such as uniforms, team fees and other associated costs

Dr. Karl Peace ('63) has generously donated $1 million to support the men's basketball program. Pending approval by the Board of Regents, the head coaching position will be known as the "Bice-Peace Head Men's Basketball Coach."

The Eagles await their NCAA Tournament fate with the ESPN Selection Show airing on Monday, May 27, at noon.

Among the honors, Anna Grace Bosley was named Region 3-AAAA Player of the Year, and Coach Long Lieu was named Region 3-AAAA Coach of the Year.
