Thirty one student-athletes to embark on Atlanta Career Tour April 25-27

The group will travel to Atlanta for a two-night stay and participate in the following: Coke corporate tour, Home Depot corporate tour, Delta corporate tour, Georgia Power corporate tour, Top Golf, networking dinner with donors and a visit to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. The Georgia Southern APEX program has announced the 31 student-athletes who will participate in the Atlanta Career Networking Tour April 25-27.

The group will travel to Atlanta for a two-night stay and participate in the following: Coke corporate tour, Home Depot corporate tour, Delta corporate tour, Georgia Power corporate tour, Top Golf, networking dinner with donors and a visit to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.

"We are very excited once again to return to Atlanta for our Spring Career Networking Tour," said Gleen Hart, senior associate athletics director for student-athlete development. "The growth and popularity of this event is a testament to the dedication of our administration and student-athletes. We look forward to connecting them with the Atlanta Corporate community and continue on our mission to prepare them for life after sport."

The event is part of the school's APEX (Athletes Preparing for Employment Experiences) program. The APEX program is designed to help prepare Georgia Southern student-athletes for the ultimate challenge after their playing careers- life.
