Congratulations to the Statesboro High Girls Tennis team on their 5-0 victory over Jenkins High School to improve to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in region play.
How It Happened:
- The match started off with a forfeit at second doubles with Annalia Small and Lindsay Collins being the beneficiaries.
- Naomi Feltman breezed through her match as she won 6-0,6-0 to put the Lady Devils up 2-0.
- Anna Washington clinched the match with a 6-0,6-0 win at 3rd singles and Ada Lacienski was just behind at second singles with a 6-0,6-0 victory.
- Maggie Proctor and Jolee Jordan finished off the match at first doubles with a 6-0,6-0 victory.
The Lady Blue Devils will be back in action on Friday and Saturday as they travel to Warner Robins for a tennis tournament at 4 pm.
