On April 13, 2023, coaches and players from the Southeast Bulloch High School flag football team attended the Atlanta Falcons Football Awards Show at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
SEB flag football players Lauren Erickson, Delanie Thames, and Abigail Morgan attended the event along with coaches Marci and Nick Cochran. Marci Cochran was honored as the Division 1 Flag Football Outstanding Coach.
This year, SEB finished their second flag football season with a perfect 39-0 recorded the past two seasons, along with two area championships and two state championships.
The annual awards show, presented by Emory Healthcare, honors Georgia high school student-athletes, coaches and staff members who have made an impact both on and off the field during the school year. Coaches and players from GHSA tackle and flag football teams were invited to attend.
