Georgia Southern (GS) men’s golf fifth-year seniors are set to compete in their fourth and final Schenkel Invitational this weekend.
Wilson Andress, Colin Bowles, Ben Carr and Mason Williams have been playing golf together since the spring of 2019. Together, the seniors have earned numerous titles including:
- Two NCAA Championship Finals appearances
- Three NCAA Regionals
- A Sun Belt Championship
- Two Schenkel Invitational titles
- Eleven team tournament wins
Bowles and Williams are both originally from Bridgeport, West Virginia. Williams joined Georgia Southern in 2018, along with Andress and Carr.
Bowles spent that fall semester at Ohio State before deciding to transfer to GS. The four golfers have been playing together since that time. Andress is a native of Macon, while Carr stems from Columbus.
The foursome will compete in their fourth and final Schenkel Invitational this Friday through Sunday at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro.
