The Georgia Southern baseball team announces their marketing and promotional schedule for the weekend of May 2-4, where the Eagles take on James Madison for a three-game series, the penultimate one held at J.I. this season.
The entire weekend will commemorate the Vs Cancer series, where the Eagles continue to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor foundation. Friday's game theme is Fishin' in the Park, as the marketing team has their best promotion yet of the season. The first 200 fans at J.I. will get a one-of-a-kind trucker hat that sees the Strutting Gus logo garnering fishing gear.
Saturday, May 3rd - 2 PM
Saturday's contest is a Backyard BBQ at the Ballpark, where fans can enjoy great food and a barbeque atmosphere all afternoon long as we look to roast the Dukes! There will be yard games set up all around the concourse for fans to enjoy!
Sunday, May 4th - 12 PM
Sunday's game is, of course, Star Wars Day at J.I. There will be tons of Star Wars contests and games for all to enjoy, including a Star Wars bounce house down the right field line, and one lucky fan will walk away with an R2-D2 popcorn maker!
