VIDEO | Groundwater draft permits public meeting recap
The Georgia EPD returned to the Southeast Bulloch High School to hold a public meeting and hearing about applications from Bryan and Bulloch County to drill four new wells inside of Bulloch County, to supply the Hyundai Metaplant with maximum of 6.625 million gallons of water per day. Special conditions of the permits required a mitigation fund to be established that would pay for wells that are negatively impacted by the water withdraw to be lowered or re-drilled.
