Mr. Toby Darrell Potter, 61, of Sylvania, GA, passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
He was born on April 29, 1963, in Sylvania, GA, to Carolyn McMillan Potter and the late Jimmy Brooks Potter. He worked as an HVAC Technician for over 30 years. Toby enjoyed going to the beach, as well as watching NASCAR. He was also an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors, but most of all he enjoyed the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Brooks Potter.
He is survived by his children, Shana (Michael) Waters, and Darrell (Kaley) Potter; grandchildren, Cason Waters, Emma Waters, Jude Potter, and Josephine Potter; mother, Carolyn McMillan Potter; brothers, Robin (Diane) Potter and Kelly Potter, all of Sylvania; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Joiner Anderson Screven Chapel.
