Mrs. Suzanne Kay Miller Anderson, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, September 27th 2023 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Suzanne was born on November 13th 1950 in Coatesville, PA to the late Charles Miller and Katherine Rutherford Miller. She was raised in Arizona and worked in Scottsdale as medical office manager for many years. In 2011, she and her husband Jim moved to Screven County. She was a member of Buck Creek Church and was active in the church choir. Suzanne enjoyed cooking, fishing, and time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, James “Jim” Anderson, her son, Mike Stricklitt, her grandson, Valinor Stricklitt, all of Sylvania, and also her siblings, Lory Miller of South Carolina and Charlie Miller of Nebraska. She is also survived by many friends and her church family.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Buck Creek Church in Sylvania. A service will follow 3:00pm with Pastor Carroll Gay officiating.
Inurnment will be in the Buck Creek Church Cemetery.
