Shantel Marie Robinson of Statesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was 37 years old. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to her parents Cynthia Robinson and the late Ronald R. Reynolds. Shantel is preceded in death by her father, the late Ronald R. Reynolds; her grandmother, the late Evelyn Reynolds; and her niece, the late Jayla Webb.
Shantel attended Paul Harding High School, where she graduated in 2006. She was a faithful member of Kingdom Door Christian Worship Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Later, she moved to Alabama, where she attended Oakwood University Church. She also visited Progressive Union Church with her grandmother. She sang in the choir and participated in various church activities.
In Indiana, Shantel worked at Scott’s Food. She also worked at Taco Bell in Savannah, Georgia. She attended Ivy Tech State College in Indiana. Later, she moved to Statesboro, Georgia, in 2021, where she attended Ogeechee Technical College and received an associate degree. She made a host of friends while living in Statesboro. Shantel had a warm spirit and loving heart. She was full of laughter and had the most beautiful smile.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by her loving mother, Cynthia (Levon) Byrd; her sister, Shaqwayla Stewart; two brothers, Quentin Taylor and Joshua Webb; two nieces, Amaria Calmes and Amya Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
