Peggy Z. Nelson, age 73, passed away on the early morning of May 12th, 2024. She was born on April 21, 1951 in Flushing, NY. She lived every day for her family and she will be eternally missed. To know her was to love her. She was preceded in death by her son Daniel.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Nelson of 20 years, her 3 remaining children, John, Julie, and Lisa, their spouses, Jessica, Matthew and William, and her 7 grandchildren, Stephen, Mia, Chloe, Kaylee, Leah, Rylee, and Giana.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 1:30pm until 3:00pm and from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm in the visitation room with father Tom Nellis officiating.
