Leland George Nunn, Jr., age 75, of Eatonton, GA, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at his residence. Born in Bostwick, GA, on November 12, 1949, he was the son of the late Leland George Nunn, Sr. and Ruby Jo Bonner Nunn. Leland was a graduate of Morgan County High School and attended ABAC on a tennis scholarship. He served honorably in the United States Navy. He had a successful career as a construction supervisor for Fairway Construction. Leland was a member of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Powell Nunn of Eatonton, GA; daughters, Jennifer Susan Nunn of Knoxville, TN, and Brittany Jones (Brock) of Tifton, GA; son, Jeremy Anderson Nunn of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Joshua Thompson Grimsley of Savannah, GA, Jackson Anderson Nunn, Aiden Christopher Woodyard, Sadie Soleil Woodyard, all of Orlando, FL and Addilyn Alexis Jones and Jacob Brock Jones both of Tifton, GA; brother, Charles “Chuck” Nunn (Kathy) of Marietta, GA; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his twin brothers, Jeffrey “Jeff” Alford Nunn and Gregory Adair Nunn.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Bostwick Memorial Cemetery, 1101 Fambrough Lane, Bostwick, GA 30623. Rev. Hannah Pye will officiate.
