September 10, 1942 - October 12, 2023 - Edna Lavon Crosby Williams, age 81, died Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Piedmont Healthcare in Macon, Georgia.
A native of Bulloch County, Edna was born on September 10, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby Pearl Futch Crosby. Edna worked many places but one of her favorite jobs was at Hardee’s where her specialty was making biscuit early in the morning.
Bird watching and crafting were some of the things she enjoyed, along with sewing, making beaded jewelry, word search puzzles, gardening, growing roses, dogs and cooking for her family, especially on special occasions.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Brady Williams, a son, Jimmy Williams and nine siblings.
Surviving are her 3 daughters, Shirley Kendrick of Macon, Barbara Jacobson of Augusta, and Disree Burdett of Statesboro; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister Nancy Strickland of Statesboro, and a brother Lester Crosby of Brooklet.
A graveside service will be held at Harville Baptist Church Cemetery Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at 1:00 pm. with Pastor Jody Bryant officiating.
