Mr. Bob Wesley Davis, age 58, died on Sunday November 3, 2024, at Heritage Inn in Statesboro, GA. Wes was born in Bulloch County on August 3, 1967. He attended Portal High School and later worked at electrician for numerous years until his retirement. Wes enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and riding country dirt roads, listening to country music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry A. Davis and Collette Barber Davis.
He is survived by his siblings, Jimmy Allen Davis, Villette (Wayne) Jordan, Craig (Misty) Davis, nieces and nephews, Denise Nicole Jordan, John Wayne Jordan II, Justin Craig Davis, Emily Grace Davis, and Jordan B. Davis, his great nieces and nephews, Caden Anderew Akins, Chloe Nicole Jordan, Henry Wayne Jordan, Kinsley Grace Davis, Brantley Gilbert Davis, and Mayson Leigh Jordan.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday November 6th from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. The family requests that everyone wear red and black to honor Wes’s love of the Georgia Bulldogs.
