November 30, 1959 - March 21, 2023
A loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21st 2023. Billy Nesmith loved his family very much. The most important thing to him was the love he had for his only daughter and three grandchildren that he was truly blessed with.
Billy lived in Brooklet-Leefield GA, as a volunteer firefighter at the local fire department for many years. He also owned his own business Nesmith Insulation, vinyl siding / Gutters service where he retired. He had a passion for working on anything and everything to do with small or big projects. He always kept those "daddy's hands" busy. He had a love for fishing like any other man would, but most importantly to him he had the simple enjoyment of getting every chance he could to cook with his daughter and the company of his family. He will always be remembered as the amazing family man and hero that he was.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Barbara Jean Donaldson Nesmith and Madison Nesmith Jr. Brothers: Ronald and Randy Nesmith a Nephew: Shane Nesmith and his Late wife Barbara Gail Nesmith.
He is surviving by his only daughter Kelsey Nesmith and three grandchildren Barrett T. Owens, Colton R. Nelon and Kinsley A. Nelon of Claxton GA, Sandra Cook, Jeffery Nesmith, and Brandon Nesmith of Clito, GA Sherry Heath, Gary Cooper, Chris Cooper, Randall Driggers, Wanda Driggers, of Nevils GA, Claxton, GA, Metter, GA Sheila Flowers (Jackie Flowers) Marshall Nesmith, Matthew William Nesmith and Robert Daniel Nesmith (Melanie) with several Nieces, Nephews.
May you fish in the biggest golden pond they have to offer surrounded by family daddy.
