Mrs. Ann Marie Dement Blackmon, age 45, died on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her residence after a brief illness.
The Chicago, Illinois native was a graduate of Georgia Southern University and was a real estate agent ERA and Fletcher Real Estate. She was preceded in death by her father Mark Dement.
Surviving is her husband of 13 years, Benjamin “Benjy’ Blackmon of Statesboro; a son Mark Andrew Green of Bulloch County and a daughter Sydney Blackmon of Statesboro; a sister Lauren Sayers of Statesboro; her mother Linda (Dana) McClendon of Statesboro also survive.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
