Early voting for municipal elections begins Monday in Bulloch
The City of Statesboro, Town of Register, and City of Brooklet will elect municipal positions on November 7. Incumbents in the Town of Portal drew no opposition. The City of Brooklet will also vote on a Package Sale Referendum. EARLY VOTING begins Monday, October 16. See the article for early voting times and locations, along with a sample ballot.

41-foot tug added to Reef KBY off Cumberland
The new reef addition will provide additional habitat for fish and other marine life, and will also create new recreational opportunities for anglers and divers. The tug, named the Brenda K., was donated to CRD by Amelia Island Marina in Fernandina Beach, Fla., after the vessel was abandoned there some years ago.
