The Eagles grabbed just 23 rebounds in the loss.

Museums and historic sites throughout Georgia will participate in “Super Museum Sunday” on February 11 as part of the Georgia History Festival’s statewide celebration. Over 100 museums and historic sites across the state will be open to the public for free, including our own Georgia Southern Museum on Sweetheart Circle.

Visiting Eagles use an 8-0 fourth quarter run to knock off the host Eagles in Hanner on Wednesday evening.

Over the course of the last year, the OTC Wildlife Club has helped with a bi-monthly clean-up of Little Lott’s Creek located near downtown Statesboro. In previous years they have also assisted with water testing and trash cleanup in the Canoochee River in Evans County.

The Professional Women of Statesboro held their first meeting on Wednesday, January 17, to plan for the coming year. Their 2024 meetings will feature professional development speakers, healthcare and nonprofit panels, networking opportunities, and even professional headshots. Their next scheduled meeting will be on Wednesday, February 21, and it is open to guests.

Artists from the Averitt Center for the Arts and the Statesboro Food Bank are teaming up with community partners to host Soup-er Bowl Saturday, which will offer a chance to not only enjoy delicious soups in locally handmade bowls but also to bring awareness to food insecurity in our community.
