The Davenport House Museum, owned and operated by Historic Savannah Foundation, was recently awarded the 2025 Special Project Award by the Georgia Association of Museums for its immersive Urban Enslaved Exhibit, which sheds light on the lives of the 13 enslaved individuals who lived and worked at the historic home.
