UPDATE 6/3/24 from The City of Statesboro: We're working with the utility contractor now to have the detour signs moved to the Bypass. The contractor proposed the Peg Wen detour route, and it appears that our team overlooked the proposed route in our approval process for the utility work. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The City of Statesboro has announced a road closure that will begin this week.
Starting on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, a portion of Beasley Road between Highway 80 and Jones Mill Road will close to through traffic.
Benchmark Site Construction will be on site installing new water and sewer utilities to service the Bel-Air Subdivision. The road is expected to be closed through Monday, June 10th.
During the closure, traffic will detour via the bypass. Please look for the detour signs.
