Update - Road is open.
Georgia State Patrol and Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies temporarily closed a portion of Hwy. 46 at the intersection of Nevils Denmark road as they investigate a three car crash.
At approximately 3:30 pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 public safety agencies responded to a three car crash involving a roll over at that intersection.
According to GSP Sergeant Robbie Scott the first car failed to yield while traveling northbound on Nevils Denmark road and struck a westbound SUV. The SUV rolled over and ejected one occupant. That occupant was airlifted from the scene.
The other two occupants of the SUV were transported by Bulloch County EMS to EGRMC.
The first vehicle then struck a third vehicle that was traveling southbound and was stopped at the stop sign. The drivers of vehicle one and vehicle three were not injured.
