Franklin's recently shared their recipe for a Classic Southern Tomato Sandwich on their Facebook page. Recipe below:

What you'll need:

  • 2 slices of soft white bread
  • 1 Jumbo, ripe tomato-straight from Franklin's garden
  • A good slather of real mayo (we swear by Duke's)
  • Salt & black pepper

How to fix it:

  1. Slice that tomato nice and thick.
  2. Spread mayo on both pieces of bread, edge to edge.
  3. Lay on your tomato slices, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Close it up, press it just a bit, and take a big ol' bite.
