The Bells of Christ Church, a premier youth handbell choir from historic Christ Church Anglican in Savannah, Ga., will be performing their summer tour concert at Statesboro First United Methodist Church on Monday, May 27. The free concert begins at 7pm, and Lee Walker and the SFUMC handbell choir cordially invite the community to attend.

The 12-member auditioned bell choir, now in its 25th year, is made up of college and high school students who have made three professional recordings to date. They have performed in Washington D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, and at the Spoleto music festival in Charleston, S.C.

Ringing on 15 octaves of handbells and chimes, their 1.5-hour concert program features some of the finest bell repertoire in the genre. The program also includes a history of bells and handbells, as well as a hands-on traveling bell museum. The church concert is guaranteed to be joyous and entertaining for the entire family.
