Monday, Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) gaveled the House of Representatives in for the opening day of the 2024 legislative session of the Georgia General Assembly.
On the heels of the opening day of the session, Speaker Burns also released a video recap of the work of the House of Representatives in 2023 and a message about the year ahead.
“It was a great day in the House of Representatives as we gaveled in for the first day of the 2024 legislative session,” said Speaker Burns. “This House got right to work, and I know that we will have another successful session under the Gold Dome.”
