Southern Manor at Candler Senior Living and Memory Care is proud to announce a special community fundraising event in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. On Friday, June 20th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, residents and staff will host a Lemonade & Pastry Stand right outside the facility, offering refreshing lemonade and sweet treats to all who stop by—while supplies last.
This heartwarming event will be led by the very individuals most connected to the cause: the residents of Southern Manor at Candler themselves. With the goal of raising $1,000 in one day, all proceeds will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association through an easy-to-use QR code donation system available on site.
“Raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research is deeply personal to our community,” says Blake Nobles, Executive Director of Southern Manor at Candler. “Our residents are the heart of this event, and they’re excited to give back in a meaningful way.”
The event is spearheaded by Nobles alongside Meghan McCullough, Marketing Director, and Jaycee Wells, who have all worked closely with residents to bring this initiative to life. The team encourages the Metterrcommunity and beyond to stop by, enjoy a cool glass of lemonade, and show support for this critical cause.
