Southeast Georgia Road Work Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory Dec. 21-27

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) announces ongoing roadwork and maintenance projects throughout Southeast Georgia from December 21 through December 27, with holiday lane closure restrictions in place from December 21 to December 26.

Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory 

SOUTHEAST GA - Georgia Department of Transportation continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, Dec. 21 through Friday, Dec. 27. 
 
Holiday lane closure restrictions will be in place beginning Saturday, Dec. 21 at 6 a.m. until Thursday, Dec. 26 at 10 p.m. and from Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 5 a.m. until Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 5 a.m. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic on Interstates and major state highways will be conducted during this timeframe.
 
All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
