A colorful spring inches closer to an end as long summer nights steadily approach, and it was a perfect evening to experience Statesboro’s latest Downtown Live performance from The Royals.
As part of the 3rd Annual Downtown Live Concert Series, The Royals made their Downtown Live debut, and they did not disappoint, bringing all guests in attendance out of their chairs and to their feet as they danced all night long to the music.
The Royals pride themselves on being an international party band with one goal in mind: party like royalty with you and your guests until the night is over. They lived up to it as they brought the energy in a phenomenal performance, giving everyone in attendance something they could enjoy.
Ranging from modern hits to the best of the '60s, '70s, and '80s, everyone was excited to hear some of the favorite songs from their beloved eras of music from The Royals.
This royal performance continued the season of free, family-friendly entertainment set against the backdrop of the Bulloch County Courthouse, bringing the community together for another beautiful night in Downtown Statesboro.
Running on select Thursday evenings throughout the spring and summer, the Downtown Live series offers six free concerts on East Main Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Food trucks and vendors open at 6pm each concert night, with downtown restaurants also nearby. The shows begin at 7pm.

These performances continue next week as the Downtown Live stage prepares for the arrival of Liquid Pleasure, a well-established North Carolina-based band who bring a diverse repertoire of funk, R&B, soul, and pop to the stage on Thursday, May 29th.
