Ogeechee Area Hospice presents 17th Annual "Mistletoe & Memories" tree lighting ceremony

Ogeechee Area Hospice will host its 17th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Celebration on Thursday, November 30 at 6:30pm. The event will include refreshments, Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, face painting, pet therapy, and music, as well as a special opportunity to honor loved ones on their beautiful Christmas tree.

On Thursday, November 30, Ogechee Area Hospice will host is 17th Annual "Mistletoe & Memories" Tree Lighting Ceremony and Celebration.  The Mistletoe & Memories tree lighting will begin with refreshments at 5:30p in the Bethany Community room, and the program will follow at 6:30p in front of the Ogeechee Area Hospice building. 

On Thursday, November 30, Ogechee Area Hospice will host is 17th Annual "Mistletoe & Memories" Tree Lighting Ceremony and Celebration. 

The Mistletoe & Memories tree lighting will begin with refreshments at 5:30pm in the Bethany Community room, and the program will follow at 6:30pm in front of the Ogeechee Area Hospice building, located at 200 Donehoo Street in Statesboro, GA.

The Ogeechee Area Hospice staff invites all locals to join them as they celebrate the joys of the season and honor the lives of those who have touched our hearts through the years.

The event will include the Tree Lighting, Holiday Music, Refreshments, Face Painting, Pet Therapy, and a surprise visit from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. 

Purchase a "light" in memory or honor of a loved one

One of the special parts of this annual tradition is the opportunity to make a $5 contribution to Ogeechee Area Hospice to purchase a "light" on the Christmas tree in memory of or to honor a loved one. You can purchase the lights at the event or by sending a check to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459. Please put the name of the person you are remembering and who it is given by.
