Grice Connect has receive numerous reports on Friday, January 19, 2024 of traffic congestion and delays at on Northside Drive East. Traffic has been backing up to Savannah Avenue. Crews are resurfacing Lovett Road and have closed the right lane from Lee Hill Boulavard to Lovett Road. This lane closure is causing higher than normal traffic congestion in this area.
According to Andrew Grimes with the City of Statesboro paving crews are resurfacing Lovett Road and work may continue through the weekend into early next week.
