The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a domestic dispute which resulted in a male in his 40s being shot by a male in his late 80s.
Bulloch County EMS, Fire Department, and Sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident on Woodyard Road near Brooklet at approximately 11:40 pm Thursday, June 26.
The younger male sustained non-life threatening injuries from a gunshot, and was transported by EMS to East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Sheriff’s investigators are still sorting through the details of the case, and will release additional information as possible, according to Sheriff’s Captain Todd Hutchins. No arrests have been made at this time, and there is no threat to the community.
