Madeline Ryan Smith is running for Democratic candidacy for Georgia House District (GAHD) 158’s election in 2024.
Smith is deeply involved in her community, campus activities and mayoral campaigns. Her platform emphasizes accessible healthcare, protecting education standards, employment and affordable housing.
Following her run for GAHD 158 in the 2022 election, Smith is energized to represent and serve the people of rural district 158.
Among Smith’s credentials, she is a double Eagle graduate of Georgia Southern University having received both a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Sciences.
More recently, Smith was elected as the disability caucus chair for the Democratic Party of Georgia. Additionally, she serves on the Bulloch County Democratic Committee as their communications chair.
