The 2024 Season for the Luetta Moore Pool is almost here, and Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department staff are excited to be back open. The pool will kick off this season’s grand opening on May 18th from 10am until 5:30pm and Sunday, May 19th from 12pm until 5:30pm. It will then be open seven days a week starting Saturday, May 25th.
The department is also excited to be adding events and exercise classes to Luetta Moore Pool this summer. They will once again offer private rentals, birthday parties, and swim lessons. The department will also make announcements of closures due to weather on its social media platforms, so be sure to follow along to stay up to date on everything happening at Luetta Moore Pool.

“We have been working hard this off season on our programming and planning to improve our offerings at the pool and make the experience more enjoyable for everyone,” says Alex Estrada, Aquatics Division Manager.
Luetta Moore Pool is in Luetta Moore Park Park at 585 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in Statesboro and is part of the Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department.
The park received a complete makeover with the new pool and playground areas in 2021 in a collaboration between the City of Statesboro and the Board of Commissioners.
