Help protect our local waterways and green spaces by joining Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful (KSBB) and Ogeechee Riverkeeper (ORK) for the “Don’t Litter Lotts” creek cleanup series, with the next meetup on Wednesday, June 25 from 8:00am to 10:00am at Little Lotts Creek & the McTell Trail, 1 Max Lockwood Drive.

This free, family-friendly event invites community members to roll up their sleeves and help keep the creek and trail system litter-free. Cleanups will continue monthly on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, July 30, 2025

  • Wednesday, August 27, 2025

  • Wednesday, September 24, 2025

Volunteers are asked to meet at the bridge at Little Lotts Creek, near the corner of Fair Road and South Zetterower Avenue. Free parking is available at the Honey Bowen Building or along Zetterower Ave.

All necessary cleanup supplies—including litter pickers, bags, gloves, and waders—will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to fill out the Volunteer Waiver Form in advance at ksbb.org, but on-site sign-up will also be available.
