GALLERY | Serving for Shelter Pickleball Games

On June 1, a community-wide pickleball game series was held to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity Bulloch, aiming to help three local families achieve their dreams of homeownership. The event took place at the Bulloch Recreation and Parks Honey Bowen courts and welcomed participants of all ages.

The 2024 Serving for Pickleball fundraiser showcased a hard fought competition with impressive performances by all 36 players (18 teams). The only notable injury to come out of the games was with Caleb Wilson, who hurt his shoulder during the semi-finals of the matches. He was able to power through and make it though to the finals.

The event featured various activities, including a raffle for a Yeti cooler that was donated by Anderson's General Store. Tickets for the raffle were sold at $5 each, and every participant received a complimentary ticket. Patrick Chambers was the winner of the Yeti cooler.
