The Economic Opportunity for Savannah-Chatham County (EOA) will host a Career and Resource Fair on Wednesday, May 21, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Alee Shriners Temple, 100 Eisenberg Dr. The fair is free and open to the public.
More than 60 employers are scheduled to attend including: JW Marriott Plant Riverside, FedEx Ground, Aertssen Logistics USA, Inc., Americold, Georgia Transformer, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, Hyundai Mobis, Coca Cola, Wayfair, Sage Hospitality, St. Joseph’s/Candler and more.
“The Economic Opportunity Career and Resource Fair is a great opportunity for job seekers to connect directly with employers that are currently hiring in our region,” said EOA Workforce Development Coordinator Gloria Johnson. “With past fairs, we have seen job seekers receive offers on the spot, schedule interviews and learn from employers about future opportunities.”
The career and resource fair is held in partnership with the Alee Shriners and the Regional Industry Support Enterprise (RISE). Sterling Seacrest Pritchard will provide lunch for participating employers, resource partners and volunteers.
