The 80th Annual Miss Georgia Scholarship and the Miss Georgia’s Teen Competitions are being held in the Bill Heard Theatre of the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts in Historic Columbus, Georgia this week.
Megan Wright, Miss Georgia Southern 2024, won Thursday night's preliminary evening gown award.

Miss Georgia’s Teen
Preliminary Talent Award ($200 Scholarship): Miss Cobb County’s Teen, Melony Tidmore, from Powder Springs, GA, age 16, she attends Liberty University Online Academy, her community service initiative is Dance: A Movement towards Better Health. Her talent is a Ballet en Pointe.
Newcomers Preliminary Talent Award ($100 Scholarship): Miss Cumberland Island’s Teen, Brianna Gaddy, from Kingsland, GA, age 17, she attends Camden County High School, her community service initiative is Dancing beyond the Mirror. Her talent is a lyrical dance.
Preliminary Evening Gown Award ($100 Scholarship): Miss Northwest Georgia’s Teen, Reagan Moore, from Powder Springs, GA, age 15, she attends Hillgrove High School, her community service initiative is Dance, Fit, Uplift: Promoting Physical and Emotional Well-Being through the Art of Dance. Her talent is a Tap dance.

Preliminary Talent Award ($500 Scholarship): Miss Atlanta, Audrey Kittila, from Milton, GA, age 22, she attends University of Georgia Graduate School, her community service initiative is Education for All, her talent is a violin performance.
Newcomers Preliminary Talent Award ($250 Scholarship): Miss Fayette County, Dominique Verville, from Kennesaw, GA, age 22, she is an Auburn University graduate, her community service initiative is Heart for Heros: Serving Georgia’s Veterans. Her talent is lyrical dance.
Preliminary Evening Gown Award ($300 Scholarship): Miss Rome, Megan Wright, from Calhoun, GA, age 22, she attends Georgia Southern University, her community service initiative is Wright Response: Learn; Train; Save a Life, her talent is a Broadway Vocal performance.
