The Averitt Center for the Arts is offering a free classical music concert on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 3:30pm. The concert will be performed by the Statesboro Chamber Orchestra, led by Music Director, Jonathan Aceto.
Together, they will be creating a vibrant musical atmosphere through lively, emotional melodies, including work by famous composers like Ravel, Mozart, Bloch, and Copland.
"Each piece played will embody a different musical tone that evokes a color wheel of auras and atmospheres. Please join us in our Historic Emma Kelly Theater for this wonderful community event and brilliant presentation of music," they shared on their website.
Community members and families alike are invited to "End your week on a beautiful note, or several," according to the Averitt Center Facebook page.
