Downtown Rotary Club of Statesboro provides maintenance improvements to Mill Creek "Fitness Trail"

The Downtown Rotary Club of Statesboro donated fitness equipment for use along the walking trail at Mill Creek in 2006. They recently teamed up with Bulloch County Recreation and Parks to refresh the workout stations.

The Downtown Rotary Club of Statesboro has teamed-up once again with the Statesboro/Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department for maintenance improvements to the "Fitness Trail" at Mill Creek Regional Park.

Donated by the Club in 2006, the work-out stations are strategically located around the path of the walking trail. Mill Creek's Parks Division Manager Tony Morgan coordinated the project to update the equipment and to install a new sign with an equipment legend and location in the park.

The "Thursday Morning Club" originally donated the equipment in 2006, and due to the popularity of the park, it was time for a few renovations to "Shape-up" the "Keep in Shape" stations!

Thanks, Rotary, for being 'Grice Good' in our community!
