It was a fun day at the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 1, 2025, where players traded in golf caps for Derby hats and celebrated under sunny skies at Forest Heights Country Club.
"We had a blast celebrating business and community -- and we had a whole lot of fun doing it. A huge thank you to all of our sponsors," Jennifer Davis, President of the Chamber, said.
The four-person team scramble format saw a packed field across both morning and afternoon flights. Golfers enjoyed 18 holes, carts, lunch, drinks, and team gifts, all made possible by generous community sponsorships.
This year’s tournament saw an impressive 50 teams of four players each, marking one of the largest turnouts in the event’s history. With 200 golfers, the enthusiasm for this year’s Derby-themed celebration was unmatched. The packed course, lively sponsor tents, and festive energy all contributed to what some are calling one of the best tournaments the Chamber has ever hosted.
