Bulloch Sheriff's Office investigating convenience store armed robbery

Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery on Saturday, January 21, 2023. When deputies arrived on the scene they confirmed a robbery had taken place. The armed robbery occurred around 8:40 PM at J T Minit Mart located at 4643 US-25 at the intersection of Rocky Ford road.

According to Bill Black, Bulloch Sheriff's Chief Deputy, a male dressed in all black entered the store and pointed a firearm at the clerk, took an undetermined amount of cash out of register, then ran back out the front door.

Investigators are working through video footage and witness statements. They hope to release more details soon including a subject description and a possible vehicle description.
