Be prepared if you plan to ride out a hurricane in your home, make sure it is in good repair and up to local hurricane building code specifications.
Have the proper plywood, steel or aluminum panels to board up the windows and doors.

Each day this week we are bringing you tips and ideas about hurricane preparedness. Last year Bulloch County were spared a major hurricane event. 2020 was the first year since Matthew in 2016 that our community has not had to respond to a hurricane threat.
