Battle in the Boro brings the brawn at Ag Arena Truck and Tractor Pull

Battle in the Boro was a powerhouse over the weekend. Packed stands and excited crowds experienced the thrill of seeing dozens of trucks and tractors as they showcased their strength against 6,000 pound weights.

On Friday, June 6, and Saturday, June 7, the Southern Pullers Association held Battle in the Boro, a truck and tractor pull that featured dozens of highly modified machines showcasing their strength as they pulled as much as 6,000 pounds of dead weight, battling against the clock and the other vehicles in their class. 

It was a thrilling time for fans young and old! The Southern Pullers Association put on a fantastic show and kept the action going as participants and fans packed the stadium at the Bulloch County Agricultural Complex. 

Members of The Southern Pullers Association travel throughout the region and were excited to be in Statesboro for the first time in over thirty years. Their events are family-friendly and gave everyone something to enjoy. They had everything from earplugs and ear muffs to themed apparel and toys, in addition to a variety of vendors and open concessions for the fans.

  • 8000 Light Prostock Tractors

The event was located at the Bulloch County Agricultural Complex, 44 Arena Blvd., near Langston Chapel Rd., in Statesboro.
