Georgia Southern Athletes In Action, a campus ministry for student-athletes and coaches, will host its annual A Night With The Eagles Banquet on Thursday evening, February 23rd, 2023.
"Athletes In Action is an international sports organization. We focus equipping athletes and coaches to grow in their relationship with Jesus, and to multiply their life into others," said AIA Campus Director Matt Wise. "Our ultimate goal is to see Christ followers on every team, in every sport, in every nation. Special thanks to Rotary Corporation for being our title sponsor for this event."
The purpose of hosting this event is to celebrate 2022 as well as to raise funds for campus operations and scholarships. This allows the ministry to thrive in its mission to make disciples who make disciples, while providing impactful opportunities for student-athletes to grow in their faith and serve on mission trips.
This banquet is filled with personal testimonies from student-athletes, coaches, and GS AIA staff. There will be a buffet dinner along with entertainment from special guest, Christian comedian Kenn Kington.
The banquet will be held in the Perry Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church Statesboro. The doors will open at 6pm, and the buffet line will open at 6:15pm. The program will follow at 7pm.
