Dr. Michael Guido, of Metter, Georgia was an evangelist and 1935 graduate of Moody Bible Institute. Even in his death, his non-denominational, spiritual messages, bring us together through hope, love, and optimism.
"We need more enthusiasm. The enthusiastic are encouraged by the achievements of the past, energized by the opportunities of the present, and exhilarated by the possibilities of the future," said Dr. Michael Guido.
Somewhere in the world, on any given day, someone is reading Dr. Guido's devotional column that appeared in more than 1,500 newspapers worldwide in both English and Spanish. For over 60 years, the lecturer, author, and electronic evangelist has been bringing words of courage and faith to millions through his positive Gospel ministry based in the south Georgia town of Metter.
At the height of the ministry, Dr. Guido's broadcasts penetrated the seven continents of the world and are heard on over 375 radio stations. His telecast is seen throughout the world in over 200 million homes and on the U.S. Armed Forces Radio and Television Network.
The Guidos' 3-1/2 acre Metter complex contains a beautiful glass Chapel located on Georgia Highway 121. The Chapel is open to visitors day and night.
