Join the Statesboro Blues Chapter of the U.S. Military Veterans Motorcycle Club as they host the 9th Annual Jesse Hinton Memorial Homeless Veterans Run on Saturday, June 10th! For the last nine years, veterans, bikers, and volunteers from Statesboro and surrounding areas have come together to put on this fundraiser for homeless veterans.
Jesse Hinton had a passion for helping others, especially homeless veterans. His legacy lives on through his family and friends. His daughter, Lynn Lastinger, and his granddaughter, Tiffany Deal, help coordinate the annual event.
The run will start at Statesboro Yamaha, located at 22815 US Hwy 80 E, and end at Loco’s Grill. Registration begins at 9:30AM. The first bike will leave at 10:30AM, with the last bike coming in at 1:30PM. There will be a $20 fee for the first hand, and $5 for each additional hand. There will be prizes awarded for the best and worst hand, door prizes, and raffles. Everyone is invited to attend and show their support for homeless veterans!
