Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, June 25 through Friday, July 1.
Independence Day holiday road work restrictions will be in place beginning Friday, July 1, at noon until Tuesday, July 5, at 10 p.m. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with interstate or major state route traffic will be conducted during these time frames.
All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling thru work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
