The Opticianry program at Ogeechee Technical College is partnering with the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation to provide a free Vision Clinic on OTC’s campus on July 27.
Dr. Ryan Piche, O.D. from Georgia Eye Institute in Glennville, Georgia will be performing free vision examinations from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Health Science North building at OTC.

“It’s our pleasure to bring such a critical service to members of our community free of charge,” said Deborah DeLoach, OTC’s Opticianry program director. “Eyecare is about health and quality of life, and we are grateful for our partnerships that make this clinic possible.”
GLLF partners with a statewide network of optometrists, ophthalmologists, and audiologists to provide vision screenings, eye exams, eyeglasses, eye surgeries, and hearing aids to over 7,000 Georgia residents each year.
Exams are by appointment only and can be made by calling Deborah DeLoach Monday through Thursday, or Georgia Lighthouse, Friday through Sunday. Patients must bring completed service application to the vision exam which can be found online.
Glasses will be made available for purchase following eye exams, or if you already have a valid examination, you can bring documentation with you to purchases glasses.
