Bulloch County 911 dispatched Statesboro and Bulloch Fire departments to a house fire in the Northlake subdivision at 10:13 pm on Monday, April 25, 2022.

The house, located in the 200 block of Loblolly Lane in the city of Statesboro, was heavily involved with visible flames when Statesboro Fire Engine One arrived on the scene. Engine One requested additional engines and personnel to the scene.
Statesboro Tower One, Battalion One, Engine Five, Engine Three and Bulloch County Engine 22 all responded to assist with the fire. In addition, Statesboro CAFE two responded to assist with refreshing firefighters.

Firefighters made an aggressive attack on the already advanced fire. They had the fire under control in minutes, but remained on the scene for several house doing extensive overhaul of the home, making sure all of the fire was out.
It is believed the fire originated as a kitchen fire. All of the occupants of the home did escape unharmed from the fire.
Bulloch County EMS Medic Six responded to the scene and transported one of the occupants of the home who experienced a non fire related medical emergency. The person transported did not have life threatening medical issues.

American Red Cross Disaster Action Team members responded to the scene to provide immediate assistance to the occupants of the home.
Statesboro Police Department and Bulloch County Sheriff's officers also responded to the scene to assist with traffic and crowd control.
Statesboro Fire Department will conduct a routine cause and origin investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.
